Rhymin' since day... curious is a multi-tasking microphone vandal. Hiphop poetry is the dish of the day. Whether served fresh acapella or over baking hot beats, the elements of this feast are best enjoyed raw. Catch a portion of curious online or on stage, spitting like a pig on a spit roast. Even More FREE Hand Made Mash Up - Volume 4 *DOWNLOAD*

Once again back it's the incredible...

Hand Made Mash UP Volume 4.

If you've been following this series of compilations, you'll know the deal. The first 3 volumes of this series contained 10 live recorded, single take mash ups, ranging from Pop to Hiphop to Dubstep to Trap and a few eclectic gems aside.
This time things are not too different, but different they are. Volume 4 presents 9 new mash ups, recorded in iDj live, just as before, but in addition, this volume also contains 315-20 minute mixes recorded live in a single take without headphones - old school via new school!! Just click on the image to go to the Dropbox link.
The same disclaimer applies to those who are easily thrown by anything less that pro Tools perfection when it comes to mixes and mash-ups...these are all mixed, arranged, effected and recorded live - one shot!
Hopefully this gives you something fresh to fill your iPod with as you set off on your summer holidayings!

Next stop Barcelona!!!!!

Wordamouth 2011 - Welcome back!

Wordamouth kicks back off for 2011 at the first of two exciting new venues. FreeStyles at Favela Chic retains the high standard of performance and revelry that it brought to the Live Room. Hosted by myself and Angry Sam, FreeStyles showcases the best in Spoken Word poetry for a creative and conscious audience. Favela Chic is one of the hottest venues in the capital and Wordamouth are taking full advantage of its support for poetry.
The first event at Favela is on 8th February (flyer above) and features HKB FiNN, Cole Salewicz (The Savage Nomads) and Anna Le (Sage and Time). The event is partly sponsored by ethical clothing company Statemeant who are supplying me with clothing in return for props! Check 'em out and buy a T-shirt!
There is no open mic at this event, but fear not - Wordamouth sparks up at another new venue at the end of March that will offer a larger, brighter spotlight to the poetry scenes emergent laureates. Alaska Studios is the venue and Waterloo the area. A 2min walk from 'the Imax', Alaska offers a warm welcome to a plethora of creative talent. Wordamouth is proud to be part of the roster. Dephect's welcome...

They Say: Founded by friends from London in 1999, Dephect is a product of the lifestyle and culture that has inspired us over the last decade. Growing up as skaters and listening to Hip Hop in the early 90’s paved our way for a love of underground art, music and sport, and a passion for drawing, painting and graphic design. While remaining under the radar of the masses, Dephect is now an international brand in its own right, progressing via graphic collaborations with unknown and established artists alike.

I Say: I've seen these guys stuff popping up on sites for a few years but I've only recently got on it with this brand. Their website is mad cool with loads of video and music downloads. They are always dashing out discount codes for the mailing list and they are super reliable, fast and friendly -

I like Dephect - so should you!

shout to Chris P Cuts - check his mix on the website...peaCe
